The basic belief of astrology is that planets and stars exert an influence upon our lives. The purpose of a horoscope is to gain insight into a person's character and foretell the future. In divination, people want to know their future. But how much can divination tell?

Our life on earth is a short one. If truly we know whether what good or evil that is going to happen to us, then what is our attitude? Do we choose to believe it or not? If you discover something very bad is going to happen to you at a certain time and you choose to believe it, then you may live the remaining days in fear.
Alternatively, if you know you are going to be very blessed in the future, you may start be lazy and live your live very loosely. Lastly, does divination tell us that we at that moment will seek divination and have our life change? My main point is to want to know what will we be in future on this earth brings more harm than good.
Our attitude as a believer should be, living our life centering around God and His word with prayer and trust and not missing the task God has entrusted to each individual to fulfill on earth. So we need to always seek God and draw close to Him so that we will not miss the mark. So in addition to the sharing in the previous answer, for a Christian to seek fortune telling or guide from horoscope and zodiac signs is not only offending God and missing the blessing God has planned for us, it is also very unwise for us.

The Bible vs. Astrology
The subject of astrology/horoscopes has been one of common interest lately amongst my circle of friends. One of the things which nag at me whenever this particular discourse passes from one mouth to another is how the underlying evil attached to it is primarily unknown to most people. Since it is referenced in several Bible verses, I decided to include biblical research to elaborate more profoundly.
I’ll start with the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 47:13 -15, "All the counsel you have received has only worn you out. Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you. Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up.
Astrology/horoscopes suggest that the nine planets in addition to the sun and the moon have a characterization influence upon humankind to map out a course of prophecy. The actual word for astrology in the Hebrew language means ‘divining the heavens.’ Divination is the act of foretelling future events or of revealing secret knowledge by means of signs and omens or other supernatural agents that are fatefully prohibited by God.
There is, after all, one creator of the universe who is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient; therefore, it is impossible for any outside forbidden element to ever compare such a sacred ordinance. The Book of Daniel depicts a time where King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon sought out an interpretation of his unsettling dream as revealed in Daniel, Chapter 2:2: "So the king summoned the magicians, enchanters, sorcerers, and astrologers to tell him what he had dreamed." There were astrologers in the king's presence of who were believed to be 'wise men' that practiced divination.
Daniel 2:10-11 “There is no one on earth who can do what the king asks! No king, however great and mighty, has ever asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or astrologer. What the king asks is too difficult. Another Bible verse relating to astrology is a time when the Israelites were about to enter the Promised Land of Canaan and God warned them not to practice astrology.

Deuteronomy 18:9-14, "Do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there… The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. There is only One True God who holds all prophecies in His mighty hands.
