Identifying Your Key Number
If you still have a physical key, you should be able to get it duplicated from a local hardware store or locksmith. If you don’t have a key to reference, then another option is knowing your key number to place a special order via an authorized distributor. If you recorded the key number, you may be able to get replacement keys from a hardware store or locksmith. You can securely store your combination or key number with us so that you never lose it. If you lose your key, the number can be used at a locksmith or a hardware store for a new one.
What to Do If You've Lost Your Keys
I lost the keys for my Master Lock padlock. I lost both keys to my Master Lock lock (non padlock). Now I'm unable to get some important items out of storage. Key Replacement Options
My hardware store no longer provides key replacement. We do not supply replacement keys directly to customers. My hardware store could not get a new key for my lock. Check with a local locksmith to see if they can duplicate a replacement key. Sometimes, replacement keys are not available for every model of lock.

Rekeyable and Interchangeable Core Padlocks

Keyed Alike Systems
All padlocks in the set are opened by the same key. This option provides "same key" convenience and eliminates the need for multiple keys where numerous padlocks are used. KA in the product number (ie 3KA) designates that the products are Keyed Alike. In a Master Keyed system, a master key opens all the locks in the system although each lock also has its own unique key.

The Master Lock assortment of Door Key Compatible Padlocks means that the same key can open all your facility's padlocks and door locks as well. Most popular door keyways can be matched to a complete line of Master Lock and American Lock padlocks.
