Zodiac signs can offer insights into our personalities, and it's fun to see which of our favorite cartoon characters share our astrological profiles. Here's a breakdown of cartoon characters by their zodiac signs.
Aries (March 21 - April 19): Ash Ketchum (Pokémon)
At the heart of it all, the ram advocates for their loved ones and does what is right at all costs. If this means losing a battle because their beloved best friend Pikachu doesn't want to evolve, so be it. Aries will win another way.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20): Dexter (Dexter's Laboratory)
Remember the time Dexter created a Mom-Droid to do all of his chores (and of course, it went horribly wrong)? For Taurus, slow and steady wins the race, which is kind of why their experiments tend to go haywire. Still, the bull is tenacious, and even if things don't go exactly to plan - like when Dexter turned himself into the Incredible Hulk after using radiation therapy to trick himself into liking vegetables - they (slowly) learn from their mistakes and try a different approach.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20): CatDog
But when a Gemini's two personalities align, there's nothing they can't do. Geminis thrive when they're around their other half. This dynamic one-some is always looking for his partner in crime.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22): Doug Funnie (Doug)
Cancers are Doug Funnie from Nickelodeon's Doug, the kind-hearted boy-next-door who wears his heart on his sleeve and always does right by his friends and family.
Leo (July 23 - August 22): Leonardo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

At the very least, a Leo always use their powers for good, protecting the city against the Shredder. Leos are kind, courageous, and absurdly loyal. They manage to invigorate their team when the going gets tough, and they might have a slight weakness for a good New York slice.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22): Oblina (Aaahh! Real Monsters)
Virgos just strive for perfection in a way others don't really understand, but they definitely try to explain it to their confused friends. Virgos are never afraid to share their opinions and may come off as a bit of a nag.
Disney Characters and Their Zodiac Signs
Disney characters are created to have dynamic personalities. Their identities are never one dimensional, and there are always many layers to them. While we may not know the actual birthdays of most Disney characters, there are some who stand out obviously as a certain zodiac sign.

Aries: Jasmine
Aries’ are the leaders of the zodiac kingdom, and Jasmine is no exception to that role. She goes for what she believes in, and to her and other Aries signs, rules are only seen as mere guidelines.

Taurus: Woody (Toy Story)
He goes to infinity and beyond (get it?) to maintain positive relationships with all of the other toys in the room. Woody is honest and a good leader-- he loves to be the ringleader of Andy’s room! But when his hierarchy is challenged by Buzz, in true Taurus fashion, he feels threatened. He is both stubborn and possessive, two classic traits of a Taurus.
Gemini: Alice (Alice in Wonderland)
When Alice fell down the rabbit hole, we were shocked at where her curiosity took her. But for a typical Gemini like Alice, that’s just Tuesday. Master communicators and social butterflies: Gemini’s make friends with anyone and everyone-- and Alice’s adventure is no exception to this. She makes many friends with a whole array of different personalities along her journey. Alice surrounds herself with people, and exciting people, showing us some true Gemini qualities.
Cancer: Olaf (Frozen)
Olaf has a personality that is very emotion-driven. Being that Cancer’s are specifically known for their emotional nature, Olaf just may be a spot on example of this sign. Cancer’s are also known for being particularly loyal, much like Olaf was toward Elsa and Anna throughout their story together.
Leo: Nala (The Lion King)
Simba is the King of the Jungle, but he would be nothing without his Queen. Yep, we’re talking about Nala, and she is a Leo through and through. Nala and other Leo’s alike aren’t afraid to take center stage-- in fact, they love the attention! They’re stubborn and sometimes arrogant, but we don’t mind it because they always have the wits and the sass to back it up.
Virgo: Cinderella
Frankly, Cinderella is often seen as the least interesting of the Disney princess squad. However, her true deep qualities within show us that she is Virgo to her core. Virgo’s are known for being clean and neat, so there’s no denying Cinderella’s Virgo qualities in this instance. For Pete’s sake, she’s basically the family maid! Toss Cinderella a mop and she’ll go to town on those floors until they’re spotless-- which leads us to some other typical traits of a Virgo: hardworking and loyal. Despite her less than ideal family situation, she continues to work hard and be respectful toward her family members who act callous toward her.
Libra: Tarzan
It’s no secret that Tarzan was raised by wolves Gorilla’s, so naturally, he was forced to adapt to their lifestyle. In the truest fashion of an indecisive Libra, Tarzan juggles many relationships, but has a hard time choosing between them. Between his mother, father, Jane and now his quest to find his birth parents-- he has a difficult time balancing his priorities.
Scorpio: Megara (Hercules)
Scorpio’s are protective of their own hearts, but once they do let someone in, that person is lucky enough to see the truly passionate person behind the walls they have built. Meg from Hercules exhibits just these characteristics and more of a Scorpio. She is both a tease and a flirt, as she seduces her way to Hercules’ heart. This is a classic Scorpio move.
Sagittarius: Aladdin
Often the sign who bites off more than they can chew, Aladdin is a perfect example of a Sagittarius. Aladdin finds himself in over his head with this whole “I’m a prince” fib-- a classic scenario that a Sagittarius would find themself in. He is generous, witty and rich (or so he says).
Capricorn: Mulan
Capricorns are known for being self-motivated, responsible and hard workers-- which means Mulan may be the most obvious Capricorn in the Disney franchize. Mulan has her eye on the prize and will do whatever it takes to achieve her dreams (even if it means pretending she’s a man). Capricorns are always prepared for any given situation because they often expect the worst case scenario.
Aquarius: Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean)
Aquarius’ tend to be uninviting and distant, and Jack Sparrow is just that. They are also often known as the hot and cold sign: you never know what you’re going to get from an Aquarius, as their temperaments are unpredictable. Maybe it’s the booze, but we think that Jack Sparrow’s eccentric behavior can be attributed to this zodiac sign. Aquarius’ and Jack Sparrow alike tend to find themselves in leadership positions because they’re so independent and unique.
Pisces: Ariel (The Little Mermaid)
With the voice of an angel and her kind-hearted nature, Ariel is a prime example of a Pisces. She is extremely trusting of others (blindly giving her voice away to Ursula?), and this often gets her into trouble. This absolutely reminds us of the naive-like ways of a Pisces.

Zodiac signs help give a sense identity and understanding to people, and what better way to find meaning than to do it through our favorite Disney characters. While some of these characters may be known as the villains, this helps remind us of the multidimensional characters that Disney has created. Not all characters are all bad, and even the good ones are flawed, too.
