Al Simmons becomes the host of K7-Leetha after making a deal with Malebolgia and being reborn as a Hellspawn.
When Hellspawn are created, they are given a sentient and constantly evolving neural parasite that appears to be suit. The K7-Leetha is hosted by Al Simmons (Spawn) once he became the chosen by Malebolgia.
While wearing it, the host assumes a dominant role over the suit.

- Gliding & Limited Flight: The shroud or cape of K7-Leetha is easily capable of providing a supernaturally empowered form of gliding to Al.
- Limited Shapeshifting & Camouflage: K7-Leetha's most immediate power is its ability to change its appearance based in the willpower and desires of its host.
- Preternatural Strength & Durability: Although a necroplasmic organism with a fluid or gooey texture in its natural form, K7-Leetha is in possession of immense strength and durability which only increases once bonded to a host and with each evolution. This allows it to withstand intense punishment to protect and serve the host.
- Self-fighting: During times of need, K7 Leetha, can automatically fight using the chains and cloak it has. This happens even before spawn himself can react.
- Separate Dimensional Portal: Some times, Spawn can fall into his cloak and go into a separate area, which is the "Castles of Hell" as told in Angela Mini-series (1994) Issue #3.
